This beautiful planter has a surface tension crack on the bottom by the center hole. It doesn't not go all the way through. It happened while being fired to over 2100 degreed F.
I know this happened because I made the whole with my thumb while throwing and it created a lot of tension there which then showed up in the glaze firing. That's how pottery works. You can accidentally do something at the beginning and not find out it was an issue until the end.
5 Holes in the Bottom
Comes with thick twine already attached as seen in pictures.
Idea: Hang in the kitchen and fill with eggs, garlic, onions, sweet potatoes, etc.
Ok for hanging outdoors. The pottery does not like to be frozen, neither do your plants, so bring them inside when a freeze occurs.
